Speed pedelec · Kortrijk
Speed pedelec servicing in Kortrijk.
A speed pedelec goes up to 45 km/h and is often used for commuting. High speeds and lots of kilometres make servicing a necessity rather than a luxury. Mekanix in Kortrijk keeps your speed pedelec in top shape and safe on the road.
Because of the speed, brakes and tyres wear faster than on a regular e-bike. We tailor the servicing to that, for every brand of speed pedelec.
What we do for you
Brakes
Adjusting powerful brakes and replacing them in time, because at 45 km/h every metre counts.

Drivetrain
Checking the chain or belt, crucial under heavy load.
Service
Regular checks so your speed pedelec stays safe and reliable.
Lights & equipment
Checking and repairing the compulsory equipment (mirror, lights).

How often does a speed pedelec need servicing?
Because of the high speed and mileage we recommend more frequent checks than for a regular e-bike, especially for brakes and tyres. Together we work out a rhythm that suits how you ride.
Do you work on every brand of speed pedelec?
Yes, we repair and service every brand of speed pedelec, even if you didn't buy it from us.
Do brakes and tyres really wear faster?
Yes. At 45 km/h brakes and tyres take more strain than on a bike limited to 25 km/h. Replacing them in time keeps you safe, and we keep an eye on it for you.
